Volunteer

We need your help!

The Redbank Valley Historical Society offers two distinct volunteer programs – one for adults passionate about history, and one for middle school and high school students who need community credits for their education.

Volunteers in the adult program have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history of the Redbank Valley region while sharing their passion with like-minded individuals. They can participate in various activities, such as archival research, museum curation, and organizing community events, all aimed at preserving and promoting the area’s historical heritage.

The student volunteer program provides an excellent avenue for middle school and high school students to actively contribute to their community while fulfilling their educational requirements. Engaging in hands-on projects, such as assisting with exhibit installations, conducting guided tours, and conducting oral history interviews, students gain valuable skills and insights into the field of history.

In addition to the rewarding volunteer experiences, all participants are given the opportunity to join the board of directors. This esteemed position allows volunteers to play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Redbank Valley Historical Society, contributing their ideas, expertise, and enthusiasm to guide the organization’s vision and initiatives.
